This multiplies the specified row in the matrix by the specified amount. This does not effect any other rows in the matrix.
This is an elementary row operation. See: math:Linear Algebra.
- x-1 + 2ND (MATRIX)
:[[1,2][3,4]]→[A] :*row(2,[A],2) :Disp [A]
This will display [[1,2][6,8]]. The second row of the matrix was multiplied by two, but the first row wasn't.
