:abs(value)

Returns the absolute value of a number.

:abs(list)

Returns a list in which each element is the absolute value of the corresponding value in the parameter.

:abs(matrix)

Returns a matrix in which each element is the absolute value of the corresponding value in the parameter.

Because this works with matrixes, it is not possible to find the absolute value of a vector, which is stored as a special matrix.
